As many of you know Molly and I are on our way for a month long European adventure. It began with me offering to pay for a 'big trip' for her sweet 16th birthday this past July.
Last year she visited her dad (Ben) in the Netherlands where he now lives and she desperately wanted to return an show me around the beautiful country rich with her heritage - and windmills.
"Since we a flying to London anyway" we added 6 days in a London at the beginning and have an itinerary packed with all the requisite tourist activities. We have included a Harry Potter studio tour, Stonehenge, and The Churchill War rooms.
Rather than bore people over social media I thought we would blog about our adventures, and create a chronicle of our journey. I hope to write each day, and encourage molly to contribute.
From a London we head to Paris via train for 5 days then fly to Rome for another 5. From Rome we fly to Amsterdam to meet up with Ben and see Holland. Since seeing your ex after 4 years of estrangement wasn't fun enough we thought we'd rent a car together and head to Brussels, Luxembourg and Germany.
We have events and tickets planned for each leg of this whirlwind tour. Stay tuned for how it unfolds.
The trials and tribulations of life have worn me down these fast years but they have also taught me to live life to its fullest. Embrace the time we have to explore, experience and to love.
